Free German courses in Berne for migrants without access to a paid service

Course offer

The German courses include two double lessons (1.5 hours) per week. There are classes at the following levels:
– Literacy
– Slow learners at level A1/A2
– A1
– A2
– B1
– B2

Information and registration

Admission interviews every Monday, 12.00 at Kapellenstrasse 24a (except during the course holidays)
If there is no space available at the moment, a waiting list will be kept.

Course locations

1. are motivated to learn German and do not have access to a paid course (no cost coverage by the responsible social service or tight financial circumstances)

2. can and want to spend at least 5 hours a week learning German (3 hours of classroom instruction and 2 hours of independent study and homework),

3. attend the course regularly and punctually and be available during the course hours
Participation in the course is free of charge. The teaching materials (approx. CHF 60/year) must be paid by the participants or the referring social services (exception: refugees with an N permit or with emergency assistance as well as Sans-Papiers).

4. were at the admission interview at Kapellenstrasse 24a and were classified.

Cours d’allemand gratuits à Berne pour les migrants n’ayant pas accès à un service payant

Offre de cours

Les cours d’allemand comprennent deux leçons doubles (1,5 heures) par semaine. Il existe des cours aux niveaux suivants :
– Alphabétisation
– Les apprenants lents aux niveaux A1/A2
– A1
– A2
– B1
– B2

Informations et inscription

Entretiens d’admission tous les lundis, de 12h00 à Kapellenstrasse 24a (sauf pendant les vacances de cours)
S’il n’y a pas de place disponible pour le moment, une liste d’attente sera tenue.

Lieux des cours

En principe, les réfugiés et autres migrants adultes qui

1. sont motivés pour apprendre l’allemand et n’ont pas accès à un cours payant (pas de prise en charge des frais par le service social responsable ou situation financière difficile)

2. peuvent et veulent passer au moins 5 heures par semaine

3. assister au cours régulièrement et ponctuellement
La participation au cours est gratuite. Le matériel didactique (env. 60 CHF/an) doit être payé par les participants ou les services sociaux qui les ont assignés (exception faite des réfugiés titulaires d’un permis N ou bénéficiant de l’aide d’urgence et des sans-papiers).

4. se sont inscrits à l’entretien d’admission à la Kapellenstrasse 24a et ont été classés.
